Invent garden-inspired bath and body products, with Alana Rivera of Etta and Billie Build an arbor of reclaimed and locally-sourced materials, with Noel Woodhouse Savor homemade treats made from the garden bounty, with Natasha Hoehn Dig a pit kiln, lend a hand, and help imagine what’s next! Paper Making Playshop with Anne Beck
From plant to paper! Come get your hands in the pulp of it and create your own handmade paper from plants collected from the North Street Collective grounds. Playshop will include hands-on harvesting, pulp beating, and pulling sheets of paper to take home. Drop in hours from Noon-5pm! Anne Beck is the cofounder of the former Lost Coast Culture Machine Art Gallery in Fort Bragg. She is an interdisciplinary artist and teaches at Mendocino College.

Session 1 Community Workshop
Session 1 Artists in Residence will offer free workshops in their respective disciplines: Shuk Han Lui will offer a 3-hour workshop for the metalpoint, a drawing instrument used since medieval times, which draws with brass, copper, gold, and silver. Each metal has its own reaction to oxidation; the length of time and the degree to which oxidation occurs depends on local conditions.
