Beeswax Food Wraps

On Saturday, March 16^th, North Street chef and affiliated artist Ashleigh Nahrini led a community workshop on the process of making their own beeswax food wraps. She presented two different techniques that involve melting beeswax into sheets of cotton fabric. The wraps are washable, reusable, and even re-waxable, and are a great alternative to one-time use, fossil-fuel derived saran-wrap, ziplock bags, and even plastic Tupperware.
